- Dance Punk
Moravian is an Alt Rock band from Metro Detroit, mixing the raw energy of Detroit garage rock with the hooks of modern pop, they've built a reputation as one of the region's most electrifying live acts. Spending the last 3 years performing across the Midwest & East Coast, Moravian has built a dedicated fanbase along the way. With over a million streams, 50K+ monthly Spotify listeners, and 8+ consecutive weeks on Spotify's Discover Weekly, the momentum has always been there; the ceiling just keeps moving. Influenced by the attitude of the Arctic Monkeys, the economy of The Strokes, and the push-pull of 2000s dance punk, Moravian writes songs that are more interested in how a moment feels in retrospect than what it looked like in real time; with their latest single "Sirens" marking a new chapter that's moodier, more intentional, and precisely the band they've always been. In bringing their relentless live show to venues such as the Mercury Lounge in New York, the Baby G in Toronto, or the Diesel Lounge here at home, they continue to push the boundaries of what it means to be an Alt Rock band in 2026.
Causes they care about
Moravian is passionate about mental health awareness, both on and off the stage. Our music comes from a real, emotional place, and we know it hits people the same way based on the interactions we have with our fans. That's why we take extra steps to care for our fans as seriously as we take care of our sound: every show is a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.
